Camden Press Office have been in touch with the Camden in Bloom community gardening competition for 2026. Entries close on 31 August. Once again, they are handing out prizes to celebrate the spaces that make our neighbourhoods more pleasant places to live and work.

This year’s categories are:

  • Best Front Garden – this could be a front garden of any size, a balcony or window box.
  • Best Community Food Growing – share the story of your shared food growing project.
  • Best Sheltered Housing Garden – for residents in sheltered housing with a garden of any size, a balcony or window box.
  • Best Community Nature Garden – for communal gardens with a focus on wildlife.
  • Camden Young Gardener – for green-fingered Camden residents under 18.
  • Treemendous Trees Award – a new category for anyone watering trees in public spaces.
  • Best Community Rain Garden – for community managed rain gardens in public spaces.

Thanks to sponsors Camden Garden Centre and the arboricultural contractors Treehab, winners will receive Camden Garden Centre vouchers as well as other prizes. They will also be invited to a ceremony at the Town Hall with the Mayor of Camden.

“Our annual Camden in Bloom competition continues to be a much-loved perennial… As well as the usual favourites, we have also introduced a new category – the Treemendous Trees Award – to recognise residents that take the time to water the trees in public spaces, helping them to grow and thrive. We look forward to seeing the amazing creativity and skill shown by our residents, businesses and communities.”
James Slater, the Cabinet member for Planning and a Sustainable Camden.

Entries close on Monday 31 August.
